Fine Arts Exhibit
The Journey is Siren Nation’s annual fine arts exhibit. After last year’s multi-pronged show(s), including “bike Art”, “Personal Herstory”, and “Organic Industry”, we’ve condensed the Fine Arts Segment of this year’s festival to one location and a broader theme.
Through a variety of media, The Journey expresses, both the overall journey of women, and the personal journey of over 50 Portland Artists. This show may be viewed at 107 SE Washington St., in the Olympic Mills building, between 9am & 5pm, Monday through Friday throughout the months of October and November. The Artist Reception is first Thursday, Nov. 5th, 6-10pm.
About the Curator: Molly Jochem is an amateur curator and professional artist, working and living in Portland. She has organized fine art shows for Siren Nation, Quart Art Collective, her arty friends, and herself. Her artwork may be viewed at www.mollyjochem.com and www.mollyjochem.blogspot.com.
